Greetings from the Empire State of New York! I’m a long time resident of Long Island, an “urban suburb” a train ride away from the center of the most exciting, ethnically diversed and photogenic city in United States: New York City.
My interest in photography started years ago while growing up in the gorgeous countryside of Puerto Rico, where I go back every year. Wherever I go, I bring my camera with me and with it the images of urban landscapes, nature, portraits and events the way I see them.
As a freelance photographer, many of my pictures have been published in periodicals, academic and literary books, and calendars and web sites of businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Some have been featured in publications like “Qué Pasa”, the official magazine of the Puerto Rico Tourist Company, and “La Tribuna Hispana USA”, the Spanish-language weekly of Long Island. Others have been published in books like “Puerto Rico, Then and Now”; “Puerto Rico”, of the Moon Handbooks travel series; and “Insight Guide Puerto Rico 2009”.
I hope you get to like and buy some of my pictures.
